Comillas Pontifical University, in collaboration with the School of the Free Teaching of Psychoanalysis (Elipsis), promote, direct and develop the Specialist Degree in Clinical and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
A particularly clinical course intended for an active, flexible, integrative psychotherapeutic training in psychoanalysis with cognitive psychology and neuroscience. The teaching does not to inform in general about what psychotherapy is, but is instead oriented towards learning the skills required to effectively practice it. It is based on an integrative model that reflects the profound changes that have occurred modern psychoanalysis, which clearly differs from the classical, with recent developments in cognitive psychology and neuroscience. Faced with the indiscriminate technical guidelines that do not consider the type of patient, the questions that guide the therapeutic approach are: What kind of interventions for which patients? For what phase of treatment? With what frequency of therapeutic sessions? For what duration of treatment? Should be at an institution or in private?
