The importance of transport in international trade goes without saying and the second most common way of moving goods, after land transportation, is by sea.
The European Union has recommended that sea transportation be favored through Short Sea Shipping (SSS) over other types of transportation, such as by road, due to the congestion of European highways and the high level of pollution this creates.
This course responds to the growing global need for specialists in the field of marine business, and it is aimed at all businesses involved in these activities.

The program is aimed at graduates in Economics and Business Administration, Bachelor in Navigation and Marine Engineers who want to develop their professional future in the maritime field. It is also designed for professionals who wish to acquire up to date and practical skills in the maritime sector.

Successfully completing this program, together with the Specialist Degree in Maritime Law and the End of Couse Project, gives access to the Master's Degree in Maritime Law and Business.
The key aim of this program is to provide students with comprehensive training in the field of sea transportation, equipping them to tackle the problems and challenges that arise in the world of maritime business.
Case Method
The case method is used throughout the course as a learning tool through which real situations will be analyzed and debated between speakers and participants.
Visits to places of interest
During the course, students will have the opportunity to visit companies and institutions that are involved in marine activity.
Student support
At the start of the course, each student will receive a portable device to use throughout the course in order to maximize productivity.
In addition, all the documents required to follow the course and to work on the proposed case studies will be available online throughout the course (conferences, policies, legislation, glossary, etc.).
Assessment will be based on participation, ability to resolve case studies, grades obtained during the course and attendance.
The Specialist (Program) in Maritime Law will be awarded to all students with a minimum attendance of 85% and who pass the tests taken during the course.
